Jurassic World

The film Jurassic world was released in the summer of 2015, the film instantly became a box-office success as it hit a new record of $204.6 million domestically; plus the film now holds the record for the fastest film to hit $400 million and the film also managed to become the largest weekend global box-office film in history, it was the only film to cross $500 million in doing so, the film passed the previous record holder which was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 which held the record at $483.2 million.  

 Universal say that the film was a success because of a few things...

One of the reasons why it was a success was because of the timing of Jurassic World's release date it was far away from all the other big budget films, such as Marvel's Avengers - age of Ultron, release dates this allowed many people to go see the film the weekend it was released and this also meant the film had no other competition for the viewers at the cinema at this time and this is where the film could gain a lot of money because of that.  

A reason for the success of Jurassic World was that film's release was spaced far away from the previous film which was Jurassic Park 3; which was the film that was not considered as the best film of the franchise compared to the rest of the franchise's films such as Jurassic Park. This new film was seen as a fresh start for the franchise such the third film was not the best. 

   

Also the international appeal the film has had as such a wide range of people as all across the world people was willing to see Jurassic World such as China as China was the biggest audience aboard for the film Jurassic World as China brought in $167 million in it's first week when it released which was close to the amount the U.S brought in. 

Another reason why the film was said to be a success, according to Universal, was because of the cast of people in the film that was selected, the main star, Chris Pratt, has the part in this film Jurassic World as a raptor trainer.The actor Chris Pratt is seen as a modern day action hero to people; with his charm and charisma which helps to bring in an audience to Jurassic World such a the audience that he had at the when he was in two other blockbuster films Guardians of the Galaxy and The Lego Movie which many people have already seen and enjoyed.
